Why are religious conservatives obsessed with gay ?

Really, why does this concern you? Why do so many of you scream "family values" yet lead such dishonest lives? Why are the most virulently anti-gay politicians, gay themselves? What earthly concern can you have for what we do in bed? How exactly does it affect you? I'm gay, and I don't begin to think 1/10th as much about gay as some of these conservatives do? What is up with this? What are your feelings for anti-gay "family values" politicians that cheat on their wives, leave their wives as their wives recover in the hospital from cancer surgery, that kind of thing? What does that say about the core beliefs if they do not in fact believe them?
