How to convince my parents to get a ferret?

Okay so I have a 3 year old dog and a like 7 year old cat. I really want a ferret, but my mom said Absolutely not, she will not have a ferret in her house. How do I convince her to let me get one? And do cats and dogs interact well with each other? Also I have heard that they are very unclean animals is that true?
