Well I can't find a source for this information. I wonder if your teacher could provide a source for you so you could look up this information. Just because a teacher tells you something, doesn't make it the gospel truth. You are entitled to ask your teacher, or boss, or preacher, or parent, to "prove it", that would be a good practice in life. It is like that saying, ignorance of the law is no excuse, well the same holds true for teachers, they need to show you some proof.
