charice is in hollywood, and so is pacquiao, for 12 rounds every fight. sorry to say, they have the looks but not the talent. those hollywood celebs you mentioned have martial arts background, they get injured and are paid big to do big stunts so the recognition and respect is big too. Jackie chan does his own dangerous stunts, he had more than 50 surgeries all over his body including a brain surgery after a stunt failed. if you watched rush hour 2's ending credits, he was filmed jumping through a teller cage with only 10-inch of empty space, he had several attempts slipped and crashed his head onto the cage. crying is also difficult, many hollywood celebs can do it better and with character. I think these pinoy artists are good, but the talent they offer is limited, they are good in pinoy love films and romance and drama.
