Is Highlander an important movie?

Highlander is impressive in that it started a whole series of films and spin off television shows. At the time of it's release it was new and different. Additionally, the entire soundtrack was done by Queen, who was very big at the time. I think it's timing was important to it's popularity/importance. There was nothing like it before it's release. However, I still think, even today, that it was a really well made film with great actors. Clancy Brown is clic!
