What would it take..... ?

People aren't stupid, they are just apathetic. I mean how often do we have to find money in freezers or pay for bridges to nowhere? People know, they just don't care. And they don't even care that the politicians believe we really ARE that stupid. But things are going to stay the way they are because, as awful as people complain about life here, when you look around we still have it the best of anyone and as long as democracy and two party system keeps up with that, nothing is going to change.
