My grandma just told me we were related to royalty, can anyone offer any ideas?

We are related to Wilhiem Von Mosebach, of Germany, who was royalty, until the whole Hitler thing, we werent like those kind of Germans, we are the ones who came to american for religious freedom, my grandparents were Lutheran. anyways, I was wondering if anyone has heard of them, or what happened to any of the rest of the Royal family, and how can I figure out what happened in Germany with the Monarchy.Please dont say google them. I would like something more direct than that. thanks
