Is it bad to not have much to say to your bf?

we have been datin for two weeks, and we can talk for a long time in person, but when we txt, i have nothing to say to him besides the boring "How was your day?" type of questions. i really like him and he makes me feel so secure when he's around me. so what do i do? advice needed or suggestions.
