If boss ask resignation than what to do?

hi..my name is krishna kumar i have worked many companies, i am marketing professional, if i am not able to achieve my target than boss ask resignation with out any notice period what to do...there any company law..pl.... help me...i am so confuse what to do should i go against boss or consult to hr...?
